Best Teacher Ever

Our school is full of amazing teachers and staff. One is Crissy Allen, a teacher at RCS. She is an amazing person and teacher.

Mrs. Allen is a wonderful teacher; she makes everything seem fun even when it is hard. She wants you to be the best you can be. Mrs. Allen has been teaching for 22 years. Now at RCS she teaches 4th grade. Along with being the world’s best teacher, she is also a mother of two boys, Cooper and Brody Allen. Cooper is in 8th grade while Brody is in 2nd.

Now if you do know Mrs. Allen, you will find that she is obsessed with emojis. And if you have ever seen her classroom, you would definitely trust me. Well, right above her desk there is an emoji stuffy, just that very stuffy, and that stuffy started the whole theme of her classroom. “My friend, Lacy, gave that to me in college because I liked emojis. I have had it for 25 years,” she says. However, the main reason she likes emojis is because smiles make her smile.

Another thing that Mrs. Allen pulls off amazingly is being funny. She always makes you joyful. Especially when I asked her, “What is one of the funniest things in your life?” “Brody,” she answered. Another thing about Mrs. Allen is that she loves tap dancing. In fact, her favorite hobby outside of teaching is tap dance. And you know how we all have an influential person in our lives? Well, one of those people in her life was one of her tap teachers, Mark Hanes. She was taught by him from about when she was 15-20 years old. She explained to me that Mr. Hanes made everything fun even when it was hard.

Mrs. Allen is one of the most amazing teachers at RCS. She will always be supportive of what you do and wants you to be happy and wants you to try your best. Crissy Allen is a fourth grade teacher that I would definitely recommend!
