Things You Should Know About the RCS Soccer Team

The RCS soccer team has had amazing seasons, including some undefeated ones. They are a strong team, but this season their greatest success has been bringing the team together. Many 8th graders graduated last year, so the team welcomed lots of new players. Since they did not know each other well, they had to work hard to build their teamwork.

If you join the RCS soccer team, Mr. Zbrozhek (Mr. Z) will be your coach. He is passionate about helping his players grow and improve. He is excited to welcome new players and leaders next season. “If you want to become a good soccer player, you have to love it. If you don’t have your heart in it, you won’t go far,” says Mr. Z.

There is a lot to know if you want to join the team. After-school practice starts in the gym at 3:25 pm. Then the team heads to the field to work on drills. Even if you are not the best at soccer, you should still attend tryouts. Mr. Z looks for more than just skills; he values commitment as well.
